The results are in...

and #2 is the winner! #3 came in second and #5 was in third place. Sadly, #1 and 4 tied for last place and those are my favorite two, LOL! I've always been a warm color person as you can see from my blog colors. But, hey, I love a challenge so it will be fun to see what I can come up with. I had stated in a previous post that I was going to have you vote on a theme but I have since changed my mind. Thanks for voting!!!! I decided that rather than locking myself into a theme I'm going to keep things versatile with maybe a little something in there for everyone.....yes, even our furry friends! I've also decided that instead of working on a whole kit at once I'm going to release pieces of it as I get them done. I'm always open to suggestions if there is something you want, please run it past me. I won't be able to fulfill all requests but if it can be done (with my current skills) I'll give it a try! I know there's been some requests for things related to other pets like guinea pigs, birds and snakes but I found it difficult to find things related to those animals that were OK for commercial use(custom shapes and such) so my resources were limited. So, for now, you'll just have to live with cat and dog things!
As for snow...they were predicting 6-12 inches starting during the night and I don't see a single flake out there! I guess it missed us but somebody probably got some, somewhere! Maybe now we can finally move on to spring again :).
Have a great day!

Christine, I am really looking forward to seeing what you come up with using those pretty colors. Judging from your previous designs, it will be wonderful!! I had heard that the southern parts of CO got some snow and there is supposed to be a lot of it in the NE states. I guess I shouldn't complain about our hot weather....we hit a record high for yesterday...90!! Have a great weekend!!!

Lisa...I'm jealous! I want 90! I love snow but have had my share of it this winter, now I want HOT! Where do you live?

I'm more than ready for spring too! We might get a few snowflakes mixed in with rain later today but then I think spring will be here (MO) for good! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I voted for number 1, but Number 2 was my second choice.... so I am happy. Those colors remind me of the beach (sky, ocean, driftwood and sea shells).... Yummy!!! I can't commiserate on weather woes... I'm in Sunny South Florida and our winter lasted all of 2 weeks in January...LOL. On the downside, we don't get to experience the change of seasons like most of the country does.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!! It will be brilliant in any case, of that I am sure.

You must be a bit north of me, I live outside of Colorado Springs and our predicted 15-24 inches turned out to be 3-4 inches.

Have you ever considered doing anything for pet rabbits? As well as 2 dogs and 3 cats we have recently acquired two rabbits. Believe it or not they all get along, except for our crochety old lady cat who doesn't like any of the other animals. At least she will tolerate them as long as they leave her alone.

Hi Ruth...I live in Arvada and we didn't get any snow at all. I'm happy because I'm taking the boys to a kite festival tomorrow so nice weather will be good. I'll keep my eye out for ideas for rabbits...it sounds like you have a houseful of furry friends, LOL!
