You are all so awesome with your heartfelt comments and thank-you's about my designs!!! Thank you for the wonderful suggestion, too! I put them in my idea journal to keep track of!
As you can see, I updated my blog picture. I was so tired of seeing that picture of myself every time I opened my blog. I tried to take one of myself but kept getting that classic 'wide angle' view of my face that happens when you take a pic of yourself. I decided to recruit my 4 YO to take my pic and that's what you see over there. I think he may have a knack for taking pictures along with his ever-improving photoshop skills!
Do you ever have a moment when things just work in your favor? Well I had one of those moments yesterday concerning my dog, Kayla. (Waring: kinda gross so if you're not a pet person you may want to skip this). I was out in the front yard with the boys and was planning on being out there for awhile. Kayla is usually out with us but it was too hot for her so I had her in the house. My 2 YO got mad about something and went inside. Being 2, he can't be left alone longer that 3 minutes so I went in to check on him. Upon entering the house, I heard Kayla, not scratching but pounding on the back door to get out. I thought maybe she just saw a squirrel or something so I let her out. She made a beeline to her potty spot in 2 seconds flat and let out the biggest pile of wet diarrhea! All I could think was that had I stayed out in the front yard even 5 minute longer, that would've been in my house! Some things just work out right! She's fine today:)
I have and apha done and will post it in the very near future...Have a good one!

I see you changed your photo! Your hair is much longer in that one! Nice pic. Glad your doggie made it out in time! Mine did not yesterday while I was picking up my kids at school. Frown. Happy Saturday to you!
First of all, thanks for your warm and loving words on my blog...
Strangely it does help too :)...
We are getting back to daily routine...and getting used to missing a "family" member..
Ok, on with yours...
Wow lovvvvvve that picture!!!
it goes perfectly with the rest of your blog...
And your hair is beautiful long..
(hihih just went to the hairdresser today and cut mine in bob-line style....
It's pretty hot (o.k, nothing compared with your climate) here so that was a good excuse to cut it short(er)..
Pffuujjwww, that was wonderfull that Kayla made it in time.
And even better that today it's over...
LOLOL...I'm so happy about the happy ending...;o)
Maybe I can commission your 4 yr. old to take MY photo!!!
Love the new photo so refreshing. It is always nice to periodically update your blog & let us visually enjoy your changes. I don't have a pet, but definitely understands your predicament. My granddaughter is a pet lover indeed. I ended up taking care of her dog while she went to graduate school out of date. So he was my 1st & last pet. It was like losing a member of my immediate family when we had to put him to sleep. So, yes I understand. Shaughn had cancer & treatment helped, but in the end there was nothing to be done.
First off, great picture. I see a wonderful photographer in the making with your 4 yo taking that. As for Kayla, I totally can get how proud you are of her. What a good dog. (I have a similar cat story like that, but won't bore you with the details).
Great pic.....he did a good job! You were a lucky girl with Kayla, I don't think that would have been too much fun if she hadn't made it outside in time!!
