Happy Mother's day..late

I want to send out a belated Happy Mother's day wish to all the moms out there...and that includes those that are moms to pets because, of course, that counts, too!I hope you all got spoiled. The plan for me was to sleep in but when the boys came in the room to give me my cards we were all snuggling in bed together and I got a craving for doughnuts! So, we went out to get our Starbucks and pastries and had a relaxing day. I finished it off with a yoga class in the evening. I was so excited about one of the yard sales I found Friday. My intention was to find clothes for my oldest son. I didn't find much at the first two but the third sale had a huge table of boys clothes in sizes 4, 5 and 6. Exactly what I needed. The clothes were in such good shape and they were high quality and smelled like they had just been washed (always a plus!). I asked her how much they were and she said 25 cents a piece! I bought 37 pieces of clothing and 4 toys for $10!!! What a deal!
I'm still working on some elements for the sports kits so be patient. I get an idea and start working on it, then midway I get another idea, open a new document and start working on it. The next thing I know, I have several windows open with things half done and nothing complete! I just need to put some finishing touches on the few things I have going and get them out there :) See you soon! Oh, for the pet lovers out there...I'm sure most of you have seen the awesome pet kit this month at Scraps for Charity....it is so cute and for such a good cause! I'm feeling inspired to do another pet kit of my own soon!

Sounds like you had a nice mothers day. Loved it when my kiddos were little and jumped into bed with me to cuddle in the mornings. Which since they were major sleepy heads didn't happen very often! lol

When my kid were little most of their clothes came from yard sales. Gotta love those sales with the $.25/per item, just about like new clothes. It gets harder when they get bigger, but for a while I could still find dress up clothes for a fraction of their original cost.

Woehoooo you've got yourself a nice mothersday!!...
We went on a holiday and invited my mum to come along so we all
had a nice time..

And yard sales (although we don't have them as such in the Netherlands) are nice, esp if you find those items you are looking for...
Life is expensive enough allready right? and kids grow outa clothes soooo fast...
Happy to read you had such a big succes!!
