I really wanted this paper pack to have 20 papers but at the rate I'm going, camping season will be over before I get them done! Here's 15 papers for you and there are some elements on the way. I had a request for some rafting elements...I can't promise anything but I will keep it in mind ;). I realized while working on this kit that camping can encompass many things depending on where you live and the activities that you enjoy. This kit reflects the things that I relate to camping...mountains, wildlife, hiking, and eating. I realize that not everyone camps in the mountains and many people fish, boat, raft, etc... while camping. We don't partcularly care for catching fish or eating it so this kit will not have much if any fishing or boating stuff...sorry about that :) Before Greg and I had kids, we did own a boat for water skiing, then we sold it and bought jet skis, then we sold those and now we have the pop-up! We are just about to leave for our annual family get-together near Salida, Colorado, which will include all sorts of outdoor activities - hiking, cookouts, etc., including fishing and rafting (my youngest nephew will have his first rafting experience this summer).

ReplyDeleteI love this kit - and you've only given us the papers! This reminds me of the best part of my childhood... camping in the popup (with a tent thrown in later.) We used to love looking for KOA or Good Sam sites on maps and guidebooks - that's pre-internet, y'all! Thanks for the memories. Looking forward to the rest of it!

ReplyDeleteI love these papers! Our church youth group goes camping every fall, so this is awesome. You have such a variety of designs on your papers, with the words, pictures, and patterns,as well as the solids. I'll be able to use these for such a long time and for lots of other layouts.

Thanks so much for all of the camping goodies! We did a little camping in Colorado a few years ago, at Castle Rock. We had planned to stay at a park just outside Denver, near my brother's house, until we actually saw it. Ugh! Basically a field with roads going through it, and you just pull to the side of the "road" for your campsite, and no trees - so very different from what we're used to in Michigan!! I'm sure the campgrounds in the mountains are beautiful though - we hope to go back someday and find out.

ReplyDeleteThank you for making this kit! We used to live by Steamboat, and went camping with 1 dog. Now we live in Iowa, and we still go camping, no pop-up, just a tent, and no mountains. :( But, now it's DH, me, 2 kids (ages 5 & 4), and 4 DOGS! It's a blast!
